Fortnite is the rare game that can be your sweaty battle royale, your chill hangout spot, and your “try something new tonight” playground in the same session. Start in Zero Build to learn aim, cover, and rotations, then move to Build when you’re ready for speed chess. The Battle Pass and V-Bucks mostly power cosmetics, so you can compete without paying. The downside is the pace: updates are constant, the skill ceiling is high, and the shop can tempt impulse buys. If you want a social shooter with endless variety, Fortnite still delivers.
